Pretty Pink Sikh Wedding Held at Jehanuma Palace Lawns, Bhopal.
Sikh weddings and pink are beautifully synonymous with each other. Tejkaran and Bismin too had a pretty pink Sikh wedding held in the city of lakes, Bhopal! Celebrations began with the mehndi and sangeet at the Jehanuma Palace Lawns, Bhopal. If you want to learn how to be a stylish bride, take cues from this stunner, Bismin who rocked each look – from flawlessly pulling off a contemporary, shimmery, gold and red ensemble at the sangeet to a beautifully traditional Punjabi ensemble at the wedding! One of our favourite outfits Bismin wore was her pastel pista-green sharara and kurta with stunning gota work. The tinges of pink along with her dense gold Kalire only worked magic on to her entire ensemble.
Wedding photographer Dhanika Choksi shot every moment from this beautiful Sikh wedding in all its glory! Right from those intimate candid moments shared between the bride and her family, to the happy laughs between the bride and the groom himself! Timing, angles and emotions were all perfectly captured.
What to look out for as you scroll through this wedding – Bismin’s beautiful bridal outfit from Frontier Raas and the all-marigold decor at the chooda ceremony.
MEHNDI / HALDI
The wedding was kick-started with a cheerfully vibrant, outdoor Mehndi and Haldi ceremony at Jehanuma Palace Lawns, Bhopal. She looked as happy as she was she was beautifully radiant, choosing to wear a pastel green and red kurta set with floral all-over prints. The event was beautifully shot by Dhanika Choksi, capturing all the smiles at all the right moments.
THE SANGEET
The Sangeet that followed had everyone twirling, dancing and rejoicing in their joy of Bismin and Tejkaran tying the knot. The brightest smile though, was evident on Bismin’s face. She was seen blushing, laughing and enjoying her Sangeet night, looking absolutely gorgeous in a red and gold anarkali lehenga. The groom himself looked quite elegant, in an all-black bandhgala suit as he entered the ceremony, hand-in-hand with his mother and sister.
KALIRE CEREMONY
The Kalire ceremony that took place prior to the wedding had Bismin looking lovely in a pista-green sharara and kurta set with a pink border and gota work that added to the brilliant choice of attire. All in all, the ceremony was a fun-filled event, with quirky photo-booths, and some brilliant marigold décor. The happy colours went right along with the happy mood witnessed at Jehanuma Palace Lawns.
THE WEDDING
The wedding day arrived and it had Bismin looking simply flawless in minimal yet elegant make up by Delhi based make-up artist, Aradhna Khanna. She chose to wear a pastel pink anarkali lehenga with gold embroidery. She topped it off with some beautiful Kundan jewellery and a matching set of pink flowers that adorned her hair. Her gold Aldo shoes went along with her pink and gold ensemble perfectly.
The groom was captured in a cream sherwani with blue and gold prints. He managed to colour co-ordinate to just the right amount by pairing his outfit with a matching pink turban and dupatta, along with sporting a royal gold Kirpan.
On the whole, it was a beautiful, joyous ceremony that had everyone smiling ear-to-ear. The bride and groom certainly looked their happiest and so did their families.
