Pretty Pink Hindu Wedding held at The Grande Imperial Banquets, Andheri
The element of crazy was high in this wedding shot beautifully by The Cheesecake Project! Trisha and Jivesh, a Mumbai-Hyderabad connection made purely by destiny and developed over endless chats and coffee dates. They tied the knot at The Grande Imperial Banquets, Andheri with all the right elements of sass, love and beauty filled into their celebration.
“As a couple and as a family we always knew we needed to get married in a Gurudwara. We’re both Sindhi and there were no second thoughts on this. The minute I walked through the aisle at the gurudwara. I saw Jivesh turn and look at me with this big grin on his face. And it just hit me that BOY! This is the man I love. This is the man I’m gonna be with the rest of my life and this is my Today and my Tomorrow. I can re-live that moment every single day of my life and I will not get enough of it.”
The Grande Imperial Banquets, Andheri served to be a perfect space for Trisha and Jivesh’s glitter, glam love-filled wedding reception. They also had their sangeet at the same venue. An optimal way to use space and time and stay away from the extra mess of logistics all at once! Both Trisha and Jivesh picked this venue for its beautiful banquet space as well as the amazing facilities The Grande Imperial Banquets, Andheri offered.
Pre-Wedding Shoot at an Old Fort
Their pre-wedding shoot held at an old rustic fort in Hyderabad played a perfect backdrop to Trisha and Jivesh’s young, fresh love. A beautifully flared anarkalli along with a maangtikka that took our breath away – it defined Trisha’s quirky, out-if-the-box-personality brilliantly. While Jivesh’s charming face and classic white shirt played a perfect match to her.
The Mehndi
This gorg bride had her mehndi at Oriental Residency Rooftop, Khar with all the right elements of beauty and desi-ness. Her half-maathapatti and stunning mix-matched lehenga in hues of bright yellow, red and green was all that a modern bride is made of! Designed by her very own best-friends mother Mrs. Padma Surakanti!
The Wedding
The wedding was a simple, sweet affair with pink being a dominant theme throughout. This stunning bride opted to wear a bubblegum pink lehenga and extravagant kundan and pearl jewellery while Jivesh kept it sharp in a beige sherwani paired with a red dushala.
Your advice for Brides-to-be
“It’s okay if you go for that pizza. It’s okay to not be the perfectionist. It’s okay if a single trial is gone bad. It’ll all be okay in time. We as brides stress so much and give the peripherals so much importance that we forget that these days will never come back. Instead eat plenty of mommy and Daadi’s food because you’re not going to be getting it like before. Get pampered by them as much as you can! And yes go to that spa! Go get the pedi. And live single every minute happily because babe, no matter how hard you try for everything to be perfect there will be mistakes! But who cares? It’s YOUR DAY! And that’s all that matters!”
