5 Face Masks That Will Ensure A Glow On Every Bride’s Face – #WZGharKeNuske

5 Face Masks That Will Ensure A Glow On Every Bride’s Face – #WZGharKeNuske

Every bride dreams of a glowing, radiant skin on her wedding day. But heavy makeup on a continuous basis can damage your skin to a great extent. The aftermath of 5 days of heavy makeup can be pretty scary. We’ve got 5 masks + 5 tips that will help you replenish and rejuvenate your skin.

Face Masks-

1. Chocolate Mask

Chocolate will not damage your skin, but the high amount of sugar in it will. Invest in some dark chocolate or unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix ½ tbsp of cocoa powder, ½ tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp powdered oats and 2 tsp of milk. You can add ½ tsp of milk more if you think the paste is too thick. Apply it evenly on your face and wait for it to dry completely. Wash it off with cold water once it dries. Don’t try to lick your face!

2. Ubtan

Ubtan is applied to the bride’s skin a few days before her wedding to make her skin look younger and softer. There are many types of ubtans but we suggest you make this one- a teaspoon of gram flour (besan), wheat bran, milk cream (malai) and a pinch of haldi. Massage your face and body with oil before applying ubtan. Wash it off with cold water after 20 minutes of applying it. We bet you’ll get results in the first wash itself!

3. Honey and Banana Mask

Banana and honey alone can bring that glow back on your face. Mash half a banana and add 1 tsp of honey to it. Apply the mixture to your clean face and rinse it off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes. Honey is an excellent moisturizer and banana provides your skin with all the vital nutrients.

4. Wheat Flour Mask

If your skin has become oily you can bring it back to a normal state with the help of wheat flour. The flour will absorb excess oil from your skin. Mix a teaspoon of flour with ½ tsp rose water and wash it off once it dries completely. Apply this face pack at night before going to bed. Don’t forget to moisturize your skin with aloe vera gel after you have washed your face.

5. Fuller’s Earth Mask

Fuller’s Earth or multani mitti is an old household secret for beautiful skin. Add a teaspoon of potato juice to ½ a teaspoon of fuller’s earth. Apply this mask evenly and wash it off after 15 minutes. Fuller’s earth will help to absorb the oil from your face and potato juice will enhance your skin.

5 Tips to Follow For a Glowing Skin-

  • Keep yourself hydrated. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water in a day to avoid dry and dull skin. Water acts like a moisturizer, keeping your skin soft and supple.

  • Get adequate sleep. Sleep for minimum 7-8 hours. If you don’t get enough sleep, the fatigue will be seen on your face.

  • Exfoliate your skin at least thrice a week. Exfoliating will help in removing the dead skin and dirt, hence improving your skin over all. Coconut oil with a teaspoon of sugar makes for an excellent natural scrub. Try it!

  • Use coconut oil to remove your makeup instead of store bought makeup removers. Chemical to remove chemical just doesn’t sound right! Coconut oil is the best option for people with sensitive skin.

  • Apply sunscreen EVERYDAY! Even if you are sitting at home all day, apply sunscreen. When you are stepping out in the sun, the harmful UV rays can damage your skin. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen 15 minutes before you leave your house as almost every sunscreen takes 15 minutes to work. SPF 50 suits the best considering the Indian climate.

You don’t have anything to worry about anything if you follow these tips. After all, a happy bride is a beautiful bride!
