Almost every bride opts for a red lehenga for her D-day. While red on red might not be a bad idea, it’s certainly not the best! For some reason the idea of wearing bright red lipstick with a red lehenga never settled with me.

Say no to- Tomato red, fluorescent pink, orange and violet.

Go for- Brown, baby pink and deep plum.

Pastels can be very tricky and this holds true for lehenga as well. While everybody loves blush pink lehengas, it is incredibly difficult to choose the makeup.

Say no to- Tomato red, fluorescent pink, brown and orange.

Go for- Nudes. Just stick to them!

Golden lehenga is probably the most versatile of all! Almost every shade suits it well and its less likely to disappoint you.

Another crowd favourite, you have to tread carefully with fuschia pink.

The Mint Lehenga

The mint fever is slowly catching up in the lehenga market. Bright colours will ruin your look completely so stay away from them!

The daring brides who opt for a blue lehenga have my heart. I absolutely love this colour but I do believe that the chances of ruining it are too wide!
