Jitesh & Gazal Shimla : A simple, rustic wedding in Shimla for this adorable couple!

How They Met
In 2017, during her training as an IAS officer in LBSNAA, Mussoorie, Gazal was sent for an army attachment to Srinagar. That’s where she met Jitesh. He was the officer in charge of their visit. There was just something about him that instantly drew Gazal towards him. Eventually, they became friends and started travelling together to places like Palampur, Chamba, Dalhousie, Manali, Jaisalmer and so on. Soon, that friendship turned into seeing a life partner in each other. 

Wedding Planning
Gazal and Jitesh were short on leaves so the wedding planning proved to be a stressful process. Moreover, she was posted in a remote area so wedding shopping was not easy. As a solution, Gazal would travel to Jitesh’s place of posting during weekends for her shopping. Both wanted an intimate wedding with their family and close friends present to witness them tying the knot. After having a discussion with their parents, the couple decided to get married in Shimla. All arrangements for travel and accommodation for all their guests was done over the phone. 

Wedding Ceremony
Their wedding venue was the perfect example of a rustic setting. Surrounded by evergreen trees, clear skies above and a pleasant breeze in the air, Gazal and Jitesh had a Hindu wedding. Their closest friends and family members were there to bless them as the couple went about their wedding rituals. Gazal ditched the quintessential red for a gorgeous pink and white lehenga, complete with intricate floral embroidery. Jitesh opted for a white and gold sherwani and accessorised it with a matching dupatta and sehra.
